Dear Friends,

John Lennon famously said, "If everyone demanded peace instead of another television set, then there'd be peace".

Consciousness.  It's about consciousness.

Each year on December 8th, crowds gather around the Imagine Circle in NYC to remember and honor this conscious vision of an enlightened world.  They hold the light.

Lennon was no stranger to dark times or facing the darkness in his own nature.
"I fought men and I hit women. That is why I am always on about peace…
It is the most violent people who go for love and peace. Everything's the opposite. But I sincerely believe in love and peace. I am a violent man who has learned not to be violent and regrets his violence."

Consciousness.  It's about consciousness.

The war within one's self fuels the wars among ourselves.

John and Yoko sang "War is over if you want it".
Do you think they meant, "War is over when you're ready"?
In the meantime, we're supposed to hold the light.

The shortest day of the year approaches; it's dark.
Rest. Respite. Recharge. Regroup.
Hold the light in your own way.

As above, so below.  It gets lighter from here.

Happy Solstice.

Winter Solstice - December 21, 2018

You weren't there,
you can't know what it was like, imagine
me, the undeserving, unenlightened ignorant
finding love I'd never had,

love, opening up
like a large, uncluttered, white room.
It spoke to me.
Diaphanous; undulate; excruciating;
it was all of those things, this epiphany
expanding, filling up
a place of endless light and space,

holding fast against dark chaos,
while the world's hate surrounding me

made that room into a white cocoon.

Love, my four letter
mantra, my only catalyst
for real change!
